OPTO•DX was launched in 2019 just as the MScaler was beginning to grow in sales. The goal was to optically isolate the Dave DAC from upstream MScaler conducted RF noise ...which is detrimental to transparency. MScaler produces large amounts of wideband RF noise that conducts via signal, power or radiates across free-air. By using an optical "air-gap" OPTO•DX helps to eliminate much of this noise. Compared to other solutions like filtered BNC cables or ad-hoc digital tweaks, OPTO•DX is the pragmatic choice: the technically superior solution for the knowledgeable audiophile. Now, six years after launch, OPTO•DX is still without competition and a bargain on sale for $558 USD. OPTO•DX will breathe new life into a discounted MScaler and resale Dave as well as a DBNC compatible TT2, Qutest or Mojo2.

I purchased OPTO-DX from Dan and the parcel arrived safe and sound - everything was absolutely pristine - thanks! I had done some prep work and after fitment everything fired up perfectly. And straight from the off, the performance increase was significant and obvious. But after a good few hours' burn-in I'm in total disbelief of what OPTO-DX has done for my system - way beyond what I even anticipated. This does indeed prove the 'choking' effect of unrealized/hidden RFI/EMI in any HiFi system. Previously I had ran a Toslink optical source feed from a Denon to MScaler and thence Toslink optical to TT2. Now with OPTO-DX isolated DBNC, I continue to be amazed at the difference in system performance - quite miraculous in fact.
And so I must thank you once more for making this wonderful leap in my sound delivery possible, not to mention my actual increased enjoyment now of all the hard work over the years...CHEERS!
